I had planned on eating at the festival because they were serving hamburgers and hot dogs made from grass-fed beef but the line was SO long by time we were hungry that we just couldn't wait. It smelled incredible though! Instead, we headed on home and fixed lunch for ourselves. Since I still had leftover chicken from the fiasco the other night, I decided to try and salvage what I could and make chicken salad. It was really good! I chopped up approx 2 cups of rotisserie chicken, added 2 Tbs mayo, 1 Tbs mustard, some dried thyme, and some chopped dill pickle. Added that to 2 slices of whole wheat bread accompanied by a small bunch of grapes and a glass of iced tea and bon appetit!

After lunch, we headed out for another activity, the children's museum. That was so much fun! There is tons of stuff for the kids to do there and they really enjoy it. It's a fantastic resource and we plan to take advantage of it a lot more in the coming year. Well, the boys wanted to go out to eat at Ham's, their favorite restaurant so we agreed. They were having a BOGO on wings so Sean and I decided to share some. I really love wings but I usually only eat 4 or 5. We also had spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer and I only had one chip and about two Tbs of the dip.

We had a busy but great day yesterday. Today, though I plan to hang out in front of the TV, folding laundry, and watching football. About the only time I can stand to fold laundry is during football season so I'm going to do some catching up today!
